The tools and equipment category represents the many products used by the automotive aftermarket each day to accomplish any number of goals. Tools and equipment are the unsung heroes of any garage or manufacturer. And just as the products themselves evolve, so does the need for exhibitor space at the SEMA Show.
For the 2018 Show, more than 68,000 sq. ft. of exhibitor booth space has been sold for the category, representing an 8% increase over last year. The following is a collection of tools and equipment products displayed at the 2017 New Products Showcase, accompanied by insights from industry experts.

Electronic Parking Brake Tool

The electronic parking brake tool is an easy-to-use tool for disengaging electronic parking brakes. Previously, a scan tool was required for this first step to a brake job. The QST100 easily and quickly “unwinds” the brake caliper, leaving the expensive scan tool free for more complicated work. It’s part of the Bartec Quick Service Range of tools.
